“Males Order Brides” Melodrama Pictures
I volunteered to take pictures of the Word of Mouth Productions show of “Males Order Brides” which was a great melodrama, and I enjoyed it so much - both the show and taking pictures. Here are some of my favorite images:
Since I usually do still life, I have a lot to learn about taking pictures of people - and moving people at that - and I tried so hard not to get artsy-fartsy, but I just couldn’t help myself on a couple of them. I took quite a few great shots and some that were just ok - in the end I think the actors enjoyed getting their discs. Out of close to 1,000 shots, I was only able to save 240 to a CDR. My computer doesn’t take to writing DVD’s, so I’m stuck with the CDR’s which doesn’t allow you to save very much data. But, hey - I paid $30.00 for my pics from “Man of LaMancha” and I got about 50 or so. These kids got their disc for free. 
Anyway, it was a great show - they had some really talented people in this production.
